Sliders UK is rolling out a 10-year surface finish guarantee across its inline sliding, composite door, plus selected bi-folding door handle ranges – as standard.

Developed for Sliders UK as part of a new partnership with ERA, HardexPLUS offers exceptional handle and hardware surface finish stability.
This builds on the hardware company’s Fab&Fix Hardex surface coating technology, which has been independently tested far beyond industry standard performance tests.
This includes prohesion testing which, unlike standard neutral salt spray testing, replicates the more aggressive effects of ‘real world’ exposure.

This new 10-year surface finish and mechanical guarantee is offered by Sliders UK as standard across all new Fab & Fix, composite door and patio door handles.  It also extends to Sliders UK’s new Duraflex and Veka Imagine bi-folding doors.
Fab&Fix HardexPLUS patio door handles from Sliders UK feature feature a heavy-weight zinc construction, with ergonomically designed ‘D’ ring shape and integral latch leaver.

Composite and bi-fold door handles feature the same solid zinc construct and extended returned lever offering ultra-smooth operation and ease of use.
In addition to prohesion testing, Fab&Fix HardexPLUS protected products have also been proven to outperform other handles and hardware against all key performance indicators.
This includes 500 hours UV light resistance testing compared to an industry standard 120 hours; abrasion testing to 18 litres of sand, compared to an industry standard 5 litres and pencil hardness of 4N-5N compared to 2N-3N.

The Sliders HardexPLUS guarantee also extends to all Sliders other Fab&Fix decorative hardware. As well as patio and composite door handles, letter plates, knockers and numerals in a choice of chrome, satin, bronze, gold, graphite, antique black, which are also covered for 10 years.
