Sliders UK has continued the expansion of its aluminium offer with the launch of ALUK’s BSC94 aluminium inline sliding door.
Available in mono, dual or tri rail options, the Ultimate Aluminium Inline Sliding Door delivers flexible design options combined with slim sightlines and advanced technical performance. This includes PAS 24 certification and Part Q approval.
Steve Mines, Sales Director, Sliders UK, said: “It’s a great looking door and it’s got huge retail and commercial potential. The BSC94 delivers great sightlines, it has a very smooth operating mechanism and what it of course gives you, is that uninterrupted view.
“The demand for it is proven and we believe it’s going to generate major opportunities for installers.”
Available in a choice of anodized single or dual colour options, the BSC94 is also available from Sliders UK in an ultra slim sightline 45mm system.
Accommodating triple-glazed units, the BSC94 also delivers u-values as low as 1.5W/m2K; a Class 4 air tightness rating (600PA), a Class 7A (300pa) water tightness rating and C4 wind load rating of 1600PA.
“We’re selling the BSC94 as the Ultimate Aluminium Inline Sliding Door. It delivers great aesthetics, its simple to fit, there’s not a lot of adjustment involved or things to go wrong”, said Mines. He continued: “This makes it a higher margin fit and sell, while the sightlines give Ultimate Aluminium Inline Sliding Door masses of end user appeal.”
The launch of the Ultimate Aluminium Inline Sliding Door, comes as part of a major programme of investment in its aluminium offer by Sliders UK.
This includes the launch last year of its new Ultimate Residential Aluminum Window, which manufactured in ALUK’s proven 70mm Optio system, features flexible and clean sightlines, making it suitable for traditional and contemporary applications.
It also offers two aluminium bi-folding door systems, including the Ultimate Evolution easy-adjust and fit bi-fold, a lantern roof and the new ALUK Luminia Veranda.
According to the The Window, Door and Conservatory Markets in Housing in Great Britain, by Palmer, aluminium saw 24% growth in the last year, including 26% growth in volume terms and installed value by 28% in sales of aluminium windows.
